Time away

Hello lovelies♥

Apologies for my silence. I was away on an urgent aunty intervention in the beautiful rainy cold Cape Town.

My sis needed a hand with her little rug rats **, and I was happy to assist {they such a delight}

A few pics of little miss sunshines visit to  the  Dr and her big brothers school trip to table mountain were a few of the duties I was summoned to execute. Needless to say. Thiz was a true eye opener to parenthood{whew} ...lol, which I'd happily do again{beeeeg smile}

And we thought its over....

We thought we waved good bye to Winter last week. Then bam. It’s like zero degrees...Brrrr. Ok that’s a bit of an exaggeration {smile}. But man, it was freezing today. Fortunately, I wore enough layers to keep me warm and consequently didn’t hate Winter much as I should have. Hope you all warm and thanks for checking in. Love Snazzy

Throw Back Thursday

In just a few days {yip 10days and counting} we will no longer have the need for chunky scarves, coats and cute boots {or we may – weather permitting}. But, as we get ready for spring, we’ll look at some items to update our spring summer wardrobe next week.

Plait

When plaid is worn correctly they can really liven up and individualise an outfit. It’s a great investment for any wardrobe, since it can always be worn with any colour in the plait mix. I was super excited when I spotted this little number in Cape Town a few months ago, especially for the leather finish on the sleeves; and the flower detail on the zipper{happy sigh}.

Teal Print

Black & white is a classic and is so versatile.  I often wear it with red, but today I went for Teal, which I think worked out pretty well.  I love how the colour accentuated the print on the dress.

A side bun, definitely did the trick on the hair department this morning grouping the ensemble together perfectly.

Weekend

My weekend was fairly quiet, it was very cold so I stayed in doors most of it.
Then I met up with some of our churches young adults for part of Saturday evening. 

Tried my hand at a chicken pie...sorry forgot to take of the finished product. .{silly I know}

Camo Friday

For me, Camouflage has become my new go to staple{smile}. Im loving it almost as much as leopardprint.

Its so versatile. One can dress it up with just the correct amount of accessories, or tone it down with jeans, capri pants, shorts or a skirt. And today was a perfect casual Friday for me and camo was the perfect choice I think.

Womans Month Spoils

A huge thank you to Clarins, Radisson Blu and Cosmopolitan magazine for making my womans month extra special{big smile}.

They treated us to a wonderful day of pampering, delectable food n drinks, an  inspirational session with the gorgeous Natasha Sutherland and a bonus photoshoot {my 30seconds of fame}.

And what do you know, this gal even made it to the cover of the Cosmpolitan magazine. {whoop whoop}
