Husbands birthday

Celebrated by darling hubsters birthday this Friday. We stayed up the Thursday night until his bday then I gave him his gift...aaaah. He actually loved it {sweet husband---never fussy} We headed off to dinner at a Jazz set up restaurant - cos I know he loves him some good music {smilessss}- and the food was not too bad..hehehe we've tasted better haha.

The decor and ambience was however stunning. Framed Musical Instruments all around in a black silver and red theme.

Sealing his birthday with a kiss

Hoping your weekend and Monday was good

Its a .....

Our doctor’s appointment was last week and we were fortunate enough to find out if we'll have daddy's lil princess or mummy's lil prince {smile} Below are pictures of the breaking news we were able to share with our church leadership. The young lady Tiffinny came up with a very clever way of revealing the news to our spiritual family :-) She baked a cake with white frosting - but inside revealed the colour on whether her it was a boy or a girl....She is sooo cute. It was sooo exciting to have everyone guess. On the left were the boys, on the right the girls and in the middle were the folks who voted for both a boy and girl...hahaha hilariously funny.
cake baked by my dear Tiffinny - she reminds me so much of my lil sis Jenique who was also so creative in her teens
on the left are the votes for a boy, the right the girl and centre stage the twins

Dad ready to reveal the big news...sooo much fun...but photographer doesnt capture the slice of cake with colour lol

The proud dad and the mum with the preggy nose...lol
so if you still dont know.... its a BOY!! Thanks Candi for these

Pastor Ruth --always such a sport --cheering us on :-)
Excuse the bad pics - the light was not to gooood in the room.

Hope you having a good Monday indoors with the allll day rain.

Turban scarf-mum inlaws; Necklace-Accesorize; Earings-Fablane; T-shirt Jay Jays; Pants-Legit; Brancelet-Hermes; Watch&Shoes-Guess; Bag-Yalier

That frown....mmmmh pray for non-sensitive eyes for me please

Any recent discoveries ladies? Under the bed or in the cupboard {smile} or maybe even in the car. lol

Have a wonderful wonderful evening

TrendyTuesday: Varsity Tee meeting Leopardprint

I fell inlove with the leather look on the colar and sleeve of this varsity tee. The Varsity clothing trend has been around for a while, however, its more prominent this season . I wanted to try wearing it with something other than a jeans or sweatpants. So, Leopard print meet Varsity Tee. Who knows what else I may introduce it to {smile}. Hope your Trendy Tuesdays been a good one.

Easy to put on & take off

Running outa the house I grabbed the (faux)fur vest because the shirt was so thin for the sudden weather change. We experienced full on Cape Town weather - sunny, rainy then sunny again, then cold - ok you get the picture :) This vest was perfect to keep my back warm, beceause when the back & feet are cold - this sister is cold. It was easy to de-layer when I was feeling too warm.
Were you also wearing layers yesterday {smile)

Great that you dropped by, thanks

Leopard Peplum

Hellooooo Darlings I returned from Cape Town Saturday evening; and on Sunday, which was also Spring day we went to church and enjoyed lunch and fellowship with the Leaders & Married couples of our ministry. Although our Spring season in Johannesburg never starts out as warm as we desire{grin}, I thought I'd start today with no opagues, stockings, leggings or boots. I plunged in bearing my legs and it turned out pretty ok{aaaah}. Except for the wind that was not playing along with me- as you'll see me trying to control the hair in all the pics- the attempt worked well. What did you wear or do to celebrate the arrival of Spring? Thanx for coming by. Snazzy
Love the detail on the shirt
