Floral Monday with green nails

Hope your weekend was good ladies. What did you get up to{smile} After clearing some space last week I re-discovered this floral beauty my mum sent me from the USA last year and these yellow stilettos. Isnt it just remarkable to make such a discovery {smile}. Makes you want to keep packing and cleaning up right{smile}

I often think its useless "doing my hair" as the wind is always there to blow out every curl and any effort Ive made to spruce the hair do up a bit. {sigh}. So please excuse the fly aways haha

TrendyTuesday: Varsity Tee meeting Leopardprint

I fell inlove with the leather look on the colar and sleeve of this varsity tee. The Varsity clothing trend has been around for a while, however, its more prominent this season . I wanted to try wearing it with something other than a jeans or sweatpants. So, Leopard print meet Varsity Tee. Who knows what else I may introduce it to {smile}. Hope your Trendy Tuesdays been a good one.

I managed to slip awayed for a few minutes to do a shoot {smile}. Seems with Christmas looming schedules are just increasingly becoming more streanous with year ends approaching and deadlines to be met. Having said all that, there is nothing a little bit of outdoors and sunshine cant remedy {smile{. I certainly enjoyed the sun on my skin for a few moments {smile} I for one am ecstatic that we on Wednesday already...whooop.

Enjoying summer (spring)

What a scorcher we had yesterday and I was super glad I had my legs shaved so I could slip into a casual shirt/shift dress & gladiator sandals{smile} Whew, because we peaking at 30 degrees celcius people {wipping the sweat off my brow}. I am going to move all those dresses & lightweight pants to the front because it seems like the weather in Jozi is going to be be this way for a while.

The weekend that was...

What a weekend it was lovelies. We had our guest returning to the USA who is working as a missionary in Mozambique who arrived Friday. Then Saturday midday I met up with friends from school for a mini re-union at the Neighbourhood Market in Braamfontein. Such yum food..mmmh. It didnt end there {smile}.
Hubby + bro inlaw prepared a potjie (food prepped in a 3 legged iron pot) and a braai (bbq for my overseas friends) which we enjoyed with some of our couple friends {whew}.
Monday was beyond hectic, hence no post. What a weekend - but last night I got to sleep like a baby :)aaaah

Snazzynez Style Seminar

Its been an absolute manic few days{sigh}. And as much as I would love to highlight slightly more than what Im about to - time doesnt allow me to. Sorry ladies {sigh} Also please excuse the quality of the pics, I couldnt wait for the others and just had to share with you ladies {grin}.

The Theme of the Seminar was 'The X-Factor in you'.  My objective was to let every woman know that they had that X-Factor and it was as much theirs as it was the celebrities {smile}.




The Gorgeous Lorcia Cooper aka Erin in the TV series Scandal, had us on the edge of our seats as she shared.





Wow, what an expression of who we are demonstrated in dance by Tiisetso on the left & then The Song Roar by Katy Perry sung by our ever talented Sanele.  These girls are shining stars indeed.

The quick hair tips on healthy hair and what to do when youre in a rush, shared by Jade from Social Salon was an absolute treat.

Glenneson top left with the sunnies, who has never been an athlete or runner before the last 3 years inspired us to healthy living the easy in expensive way.  We were delighted to learn that if she can do the Comrades Marathon, then so can we.

Our absolute "highlight" highlight was Lorcia Cooper - aaaah. What a woman. As I read her resume & accolades she took the platform saying that her  greatest accolade - was being a mother and how we should be mothers to the children we come across as they will be the ones our kids will one day interact with, rubbing off good (those we have taught) behaviour instead of bad.  This certainly opened my eyes as a non-mother (if there is even a word like that).  We hung on every word she uttered about how we all have the X-Factor in us to nurture and grow one another. Man, this womans presence, her demeanour blew us all away. So down to earth. Her sharing hightlighted to us that WE ALL indeed do have the X-Factor in us.

The food was amazing, the prize giving (breakfast for 2 at the Radisson Blu Hotel Sandton, a breakfast with Lorcia, Avon Jewellery, Hair & beaty treatments, Handbag, etc) explosive as it seemed almost like all the ladies who won said quiet prayers that it be them.  Below are some pics of our networking sessions, with our sunnies from our goody bags {beeeeeg smile} just what we need for Summer.

  

The objective was received as I am still receiving raving reviews on how challenged and inspired these beautiful ladies are to go for what they believe they can achieve {beeeeg smile}.

White black....and neon

When in doubt, wear black and white.{smile} Pretty easy right as its a season to season staple for all of us. You'd be glad to know that its so on trend for this Spring. No need then to do extra shopping {smile} as you may already have it in your wardrobe. I added a pop of colour with my neon accessories. If you not big on neon but would like to try it out this Spring. Begin with a belt, ring or earings to see how you feel about it .
