Indoors play

With all the rain the entire week - I have not really had an opportunity to do a shoot outside.... bleh bleh However, I found a perfect setting for my very comfi long sleeve non-preggy shift dress {smile} and added a pair of sunnies [indoors]to create a bit of edge teeheeheeeeee... What do ya think? Have a pulled it off.

Hope you all have been staying warm - because the rain brought along a bit of a chill ...hence the boots {smile}

Growing

The baby bump is growing week by week :-) Baby weighs 178gram and "mum to be" 65kgs....yikes...


And thats that about the ginormous everything you see in the pics below...hahaha

Its a .....

Our doctor’s appointment was last week and we were fortunate enough to find out if we'll have daddy's lil princess or mummy's lil prince {smile} Below are pictures of the breaking news we were able to share with our church leadership. The young lady Tiffinny came up with a very clever way of revealing the news to our spiritual family :-) She baked a cake with white frosting - but inside revealed the colour on whether her it was a boy or a girl....She is sooo cute. It was sooo exciting to have everyone guess. On the left were the boys, on the right the girls and in the middle were the folks who voted for both a boy and girl...hahaha hilariously funny.

Simplistic

Our journey has been pretty amaZing!! No morning sickness! YIPPPPIE! No unusual cravings! and no bad sleeping positions [yet]!! Double YIPPIE I say {beeeeg smile} The awesome part about the journey is the growing belly - its been at a fast pace because so many ladies tell me - your tummy's tooo big for where your at {haha}. I dont mind much... since it means baby is growing.


Big hair.....just the way hubby likes it hahaha



17 weeks



Very soon we find out if my readers will be aunts or uncles hahaha, where my sisters are having a niece or a nephew and grandparents another grandson or daughter added to their list of prezzies to buy hahaha

Kept the dress code Simple - with a shift dress that doesnt require much due to the gorgeous print and colour:-)

I have soooo much to share and soooo little time....bleh!!! Will try and compile them this weekend and share tit bits every day next week.

Wardrobe fine-tuning



a few months ago I could still nip my T into my pants lol



Hard to believe that just a few months ago I could tuck my T into these ever so comfi pajama pants. Fast forward to a baby bump and having to be super creative in making your current wardrobe work for you. Huh. Its. True. Babys whether in the womb or born - they take over your life hahaha. You will have to stay tuned for those items that will be up for grabs that. Just.Wont.Fit. hahaha

Now all Ts stays out....lol

 

I am also working hard at mainting my dress sense and not letting the baby take over COMPLETELY you know - by getting me into huge tents for dresses & shirts - hahaha.

Therefore I have not entirely given up on my stilletos as yet :-) Instead, I am alternating between them and pretty comfy flats. This I have compromised with for ease of moving around quickly with the extra weight ok-And. Avoiding back aches. I am enjoying every second of this miracle growing inside of me :-)

What baby prefers....bleh

  Soooo I was wondering... Is this baby reallly mine??? lol How can baby refuse those decadent cup cakes I soooo love and chockies. Instead I or shall we say baby prefers fruit and salads. I mean how absurd is that!!! Who doesnt love these simple pleasures??? Baby wants cooked food instead of take aways??? Quick and easy is what babys mamas all about!! Is this really my baby??? hahaha 


I mean...look at them and baby rejects them...huh




I start my day with a cereal...so  disappointed as Ive heard about the sloppy toasted sarmies other ladies would gobble down lol

 

The intake of fruit and dairy I try and have daily...haha for the sake of baby

I move around with little containers as this even on the weekends (cant believe it)

Anyway, its all about what baby wants right? I even have to travel around with snacks. And by snacks I mean dry biscuits/ crackers, fruit, carrot sticks and the like. Seriously!! Is this my baby.. Reallly !!

Welllll, who knows??? This may change later right lol.  Love him / her already sooo much

How the story unfolded...

aaaah... Soooo... the story goes. as you may have noticed in my previous posts that Ive constantly been wearing sunglasses due to my eyes always looking way droopy because Ive been feeling so tired since November/December last year. I accredited this to our very busy season with events, board meetings, church activities and the likes.... However! After meeting with my sis for lunch one Monday afternoon, she says to me that I cant be tired for so long and she thought the lunch was to announce that Im pregnant hahahaha. This being the 2nd hint towards me being pregnant, I decided Im going to do the test - I mean, no morning sickness, the little bit of weight gain I blamed on my bad eating during the festive season hahaha




Look at those eyes...like Ive been digging in a mine all day...ooooi

 

The test was done... and the result... whooooo positive. I cant believe it and rush out to get another one and cant wait to do it again when hubby gets home...I need a witness you know!! We've been planning this forever (ok at least it felt like forever) To cut the storrrrry a bit shorter - we eventually did 3 tests and assumed we were about 4-5weeks :-) Get to the Gynae--we are 12 weeks hahaha i.e. 3months. I almost fainted, because at the rate I was working and moving up and down - the baby must have wondered whats going on - lol.

BUT GODS been faithful, keeping both baby and I happy and healthy and safe. We thank God for choosing us to be parents to this amazing bundle.
